Samantha Walsh

Accredited Exercise Physiologist

Samantha graduated from the Australian Catholic University with a Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology and is currently completing a Doctor of Philosophy in postpartum musculoskeletal health. She has a love for women’s health and after having two children of her own is passionate about improving postpartum rehabilitation and ensuring that the return to exercise is safe and progressive.  

Samantha also works as a lecturer and researcher at the Australian Catholic University, teaching into both the programs of Exercise and Sports Science and the Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology. She has experience working in community health and private practice with various clinical populations including cardiovascular disease, heart failure, pulmonary disease, autoimmune disease, metabolic disease, neurological disease, chronic musculoskeletal issues, mental health conditions, and long covid. She is dedicated to implementing evidence-based research to help clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.  

Samantha has completed clinical Pilates training and believes that the combination of this and tertiary studies enables her to design and deliver holistic rehabilitation programs to a range of clients. 

Outside of work Sam enjoys running, mountain biking, pilates and strength training.
