What to expect at your first appointment
Your first appointment is a 60-minute consultation in a private room with Bronwyn.
We start with a conversation about what's been going on - what's bothering you, when it started, how it's affecting your day. From there, we'll talk you through the assessment options and what each one involves. All assessment options are discussed with you before anything proceeds - nothing happens without your consent.
By the end of the session, you'll have a clear understanding of what's going on and an individualised plan to take forward.
Meet your physiotherapist: Bronwyn Scahill
Bronwyn is an APA-registered physiotherapist with postgraduate training in men's and women's pelvic health. She works with men across the Sutherland Shire on the full range of pelvic health concerns men present with - from bladder and bowel symptoms to pelvic pain and recovery support.

Do I need a GP referral?
No - you can book directly with us. Private health fund rebates also apply without a referral.
Is this confidential?
Yes. Consultations are conducted one-on-one in a private room. What you discuss with Bronwyn stays between you.
Can I claim on private health insurance?
Yes - we offer direct billing with most major Australian health funds, settled at the end of the consultation.
How long is each session and how much does it cost?
Initial assessment (60 minutes): $250
Follow-up (45 minutes): $195
Follow-up (30 minutes): $160
Direct billing is available at the consultation with most major Australian private health funds - the gap depends on your fund and level of cover. Medicare rebates of around $70 apply if you've been referred by your GP under a Chronic Disease Management plan.

Where are the clinics and is parking available?
We have two clinics across the Sutherland Shire.
Sutherland: Shop 1/728 Old Princes Highway. Plenty of free council parking directly out the front and back of the clinic.
Woolooware: 49 Wills Road. Plenty of street parking directly out the front of the clinic.
