DOUGLAS BRANDTMAN

PHYSIOTHERaPIST

Flow Physio Co SUTHERLAND

Doug grew up in the Sutherland Shire and developed a keen eye for helping people through his journey of sport, exercise and various injuries along the way. With a Masters in Physiotherapy from the University of Technology Sydney and a Bachelor of Exercise Science from the University of Wollongong, he is more than equipped for the job.

Doug has played a variety of sports including soccer, rugby league, basketball and oz-tag for the better part of his life. He now likes to keep his body active through walking, mountain biking and resistance training, and his mind active with reading and continuing education.

He was involved with the Burraneer Dolphins and Southern Districts Colts working as a sports trainer and as a strength and conditioning coach, respectively. Along with this, Doug’s clinical placements saw him working with the Sydney FC A-League team, in the Orthopaedic Ward at Prince of Wales Hospital, in the Neuro Rehab Ward at Waratah Private Hospital and in a Private Clinic based in Sutherland.

His approach to management incorporates getting a thorough understanding of you and the source of your issue, applying hands-on work alongside his background in exercise, strength and conditioning, to lead you to better health and function.

Doug is super excited with this new chapter in his life at Flow Physio Co. He is keen to help guide you on your journey to better health.
